Yoshiki of X Japan (J Rock band of the 90s or older?)! He's the founder, pianist, and drummer! This is my favorite photo of him, so I had the urge to draw it (I like him with hair short ^^). This is probably the first time I got a realism portrait kind of right. The real photo will be on my site if you wanna see ^^... Of his music, I like the peaceful ballads... so far Without You for hide, Goodbye, Tears I love lots... Anyone else here a fan?

D= i've never heard of them/him. do you know naitomea [nightmare]? they're a jrock band, but only 5 years running now. =) sweet pic.

yup, I'm always amazed how different my impression is from the facts XP... I think they were pretty big, still kind of disturbed by how the present themselves, but that was in the early days... I've really only listened to the ballads since at present I'm not exactly into rock, but who knows, if I'm a real fan, I should try ^^

Ha, I totally had to go check up visual kei since I didn't read wiki before, but now I know... wow pioneered it =D! Hey in your icon, is that a penguin hat? Maybe not, just suddenly looked like a penguin suit or something ^^

Realism has never turned out the way it's supposed to for me, until this one (which isn't exactly like the photo but close enough for me XD) ... and this is the first time I've attempted outside of art class... I'm sure if you like something as much as I like X Japan, you would be compelled as much as me and succeed ^^
