Yay! finally some more updates after I went and told everyone I had stuff coming a while ago T.T (tv shows and manhwa too tempting… plus not much freedom for drawing now that I’m not living alone XP)

Hehe another lovely kiss scene that I found, this time in ZIG*ZAG by Yuki Nakaji… well the pose is referenced, some changes in character design though… for no logical reason (XD) I was kinda embarrassed working on this in plain sight ><

Some advertising… or rather word-spreading: well I’ve been reading a lot of shoujo (lame-o *_*) Anyway, Yuki Nakaji’s mangas are really quite funny and cute… Venus in Love was pretty long, I didn’t read the whole thing (cuz the guy I liked became a minor character by vol. 3 or so T.T) This picture was referenced off ZIGZAG’s Sono Kirihara and a girl (I don’t know her name since it’s not been translated into English yet) who didn’t like him at first and left a bad impression but then started chasing him furiously (in love I mean). This couple is much more interesting than the main one =D

I’ve also bee kinda obsessed with HWANG MI RI manhwa. You might say her stuff are all pretty similar, but they are a lot of fun to read nevertheless! I highly recommend it if you do read shoujo, you'll be entertained for hours (and beyond)!

Those are supposed to be lilacs in the foreground and apple blossoms in the background. They're super rough, but I think the stuff in front and behind the focus are supposed to be blurry? (actually, those lilacs are there because I didn't know how to draw that part since it wasn't in the original T.T
lol the guy's eyes are a bit too wide >< he looks TOO shocked

First off, lovelovelove the way you colored the foliage and flowers to give it that windblown feel. I'm head over heels for the way you color :worship:

I don't think the guy looks too shocked at all! In fact, I think both their expressions are perfect. :D

Wow this picture looks really great! I love the overall feel of the picture. You can really feal her love and his shock. The flowers really give it a nice touch and that you blurred the ones up front. The coloring is absolutely beautiful! It's so cute^///^

Hmm never heard of the manga. I might check it out^^ (I like shojo) Great job on such a beautiful piece!

hehe you should! I actually don't know what kind of manga/anime you're into since you don't draw much fanart (or I don't think)... but since you liked PR, I'm supposing you're ok with shoujo (?)
PR was cute and funny (and I liked the art) but I guess it kinda lacked a dramatic climax... Hwang Mi Ri stuff definitely has a lot of humor and drama and I love the fact that the love relationships are obvious but come only after a lot has happened =D
