7 days: Nyna and Camus from:

FE1/11: Ankoku Ryu to Hikari no Tsurugi/ Shadow Dragon and
FE3/12: Monsho no Nazo/ Shin Monsho no Nazo ~Hikari to Kage no Eiyu~

Their designs are mostly referenced from the originals rather than the remakes.

The plan for week 2 of the countdown is one day for each game or multiple games featuring the same cast (i.e. PoR and RD will only get one), except for FE2: Gaiden because I don't know anything about it >_<

Since Awakening is bringing back the marriage system from FE4, I figured I would draw some of my favorite couples!

Gah, it's been so long since I beat 2.
It goes something like this...
Camus winds up on the 2nd Continent you visit in Awakening somehow and gets saved by this green haired woman. He can't remember anything and calls himself by another name. She falls in love with him and continues to care for him. They both join Alm during chapter 3 if I remember correctly. After the game Camus remembers his past life. He then travels back disguised as Sirius for the events of 3/12. He then goes back to green haired woman, and Nina chases after him.
Sorry, it has been a few years since I beat 2.

No this is great, thanks a lot for telling me about this, it's sparked my interested in FE2. I've always disregarded 2 because it's the only one of the old 3 that didn't get a remake, so I didn't realize it had a connection to 1 and 3. Boy was I wrong. I also haven't finished 3/12 yet so I didn't know what happens at the end.

How would you rate 2 compared to other FE games?

2 is a really good game, it just hasn't aged well. (Use a turbo button) As it introduced a lot of things that were in later games, like Monsters, 3rd tier classes, split promotions, a world map, and more.

Well I believe it is more fun than FE1/11 and 6 but anything after that it is hard for me to place as I love every Fire Emblem game.
