Exactly 2 weeks until the release of Fire Emblem Awakening!!

After playing the demo, I'm even more excited! For some reason, even though there wasn't much I hadn't already seen in trailers, it felt so great in my own hands XD

So there's a countdown going on on tumblr... I didn't realize what it was about before so I didn't join. Now I regret it. So I decided to do my own countdown!

I will be posting a drawing of FE Awakening everyday until Feb. 4th. They'll mostly be sketches like this due to time and skill restraints, but hopefully I'll do at least one nice and finished piece before then XD

Did you teach yourself how to draw hair? I only graduated from stick figures in my first year of high school. I can draw long hair alright, but short is such a different story...

Yeah I did, basically just copying what I liked and practicing lots.
Hmm yeah short spiky hair can be hard to get to look right... straight hair is easier because you can just follow the contour of the head =]

We wait all the time for things to get out of Japan, but I guess it's worse when it has already made it to other English-speaking countries.
