Since those silhouettes suck, in case you couldn't tell, that's Chrom and Marth welcoming My Unit to the world of Awakening.

It's February 4th!! Fire Emblem: Awakening is officially here! Sure there were the early releases and now the delays, but this date has been ingrained in my head ever since it was announced, so it's still pretty exciting, right?

And of course, this marks the end of my countdown. Didn't think this rambler could let this go just like that, did ya?

Reflecting on the past two weeks, I'm really glad that I took up this 'project', and stuck it out. I can't remember the last time I drew this much! It gave me a chance to draw some of my favorite characters that I've just always been too lazy to before, to reminisce on these games, and to re-experience the emotions they brought. Despite all my talk, I felt that this was the first time I was able to really show my love and support for the series.

And speaking of worthwhile, I couldn't possibly forget all the Fire Emblem fans I got to talk to as a result! Thank you guys for all the comments you left, I enjoyed every single conversation =]

Now go and play the game!!

I played it last night! AND I BEAT IT! LOL JK I totally did not beat it yet XD I'm on chapter 3. Have you started playing yet?

Casual I think ... lol I know, I just hate it when units die and are lost forever. When I lost Cadea in shadow dragon that one time, I literally cried...lol I get really attached to the characters... I cried watching the pre-prolouge!

I'm play through on easy for starting out. What about you?

I'm playing on normal and classic. I know what you mean, I can't stand characters dying, it would be an automatic reset, but at the same time, it's what FE is known for and there are a lot of other changes already. So far I haven't had to reset =] Hard mode though, I died multiple times in chapter 1! That's why I figured I better start with easy XD

I just finished chapter 9 and have been finding it harder than usual to get attached to some characters. I think it has to do with the fact I still don't like the art style as much as the old one, and some character personalities seem exaggerated. And I guess just the pacing of the story? Regardless, still having tons of fun with it XD

LOL I had Sully die on me yesterday, I freaked out and yelled "NO SULLY!! NO!!!" LOL luckily I was on casual... My friend is on chapter 16 already, I'm on chapter 7 now, I'm kinda taking it slow
